DOCUMENTS TO BRING TO REGISTER
The documents required for registration are:
The original of the high school diploma and its Turkish translation approved by the notary public or Turkish Foreign Representatives operating in Turkey with Apostille, [Registration will not be made with the Graduation Certificate. However, in exceptional cases; Students who cannot receive their diplomas from the school they graduated from and apply with a temporary graduation certificate are required to bring the original of their diplomas by the end of the semester they are registered (the end date of the Fall semester specified in the academic calendar of the relevant academic year). The registrations of students who do not submit their original diplomas within this period are deleted by the Registrar's Office.]
For Turkish students who completed their high school education abroad; "Equivalence Certificate (Denklik)" to be obtained from the Embassies or Consulates of the Republic of Turkey or the Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Turkey, showing that the high school diploma is equivalent to the diplomas obtained from Turkish high schools, [It is obligatory to bring the original of the Equivalence Certificate by the end of the semester in which it is registered (the end date of the Fall semester specified in the academic calendar of the relevant academic year). The registration of students who do not submit their diploma equivalence within this period is deleted.]
The original of the document showing the graduation grade point average and its Turkish translation approved by a notary public or Turkish Foreign Representatives,
The original of the exam result document used in the application and its notarized Turkish translation (QR code copy of TR-YÖS Exam Result Document and taken from the ÖSYM System), (In case SAT score sent via College Board then the copy of the score card is enough)
Certified copy of the page of the identity document or passport showing the identity information,
In order to register, Tuition fee must be deposited,
"Student Visa" to be obtained from Turkish Foreign Representatives, [Those who do not have a student visa must be in the status of foreigners who will not be required a Student Visa within the framework of the principles determined by the General Directorate of Security.]
6 passport photos taken in the last 6 months,
The original and certified copy of the valid Turkish proficiency certificate, if any, [It is not required from students with Blue Card and Turkish nationality.]
Foreign National Identity Number (YU), if any,
Certificate of Identity Registration Copy for dual nationals who are foreign nationals by birth and later acquire Turkish citizenship,
Financial Security Declaration Form,
A document approved by the General Directorate of Security showing the entry/exit of Turkish students studying high school abroad,
YTU International Student Registration Commitment Form.
Certified population registration copies of blue card holder students, one closed registration and the other open.
WARNING:
Students who have the right to register can access the acceptance document through the OBS system. (The acceptance letters created for the entry of the student who has the right to enroll in our country have not been created for students with TR Identity Numbers starting with 99 and 98, as there is no need. In addition, the acceptance documents of students registered in other higher education institutions cannot be created and sent to the YÖKSİS System. These students must be deregistered from the universities they are enrolled in before the registration process.)
Students are required to register in the first semester they are admitted to the program. Students who do not register during the registration period are deemed to have waived their rights.
In order for registered foreign students to reside in Turkiye to study, they must obtain the student residence permit issued by the competent authorities of the Ministry of Interior within the framework of the provisions of the Law on Foreigners and International Protection No. 6458 within 90 (ninety) days and submit it to the Registrar's Office.
For students under 18, the notarized consent of both parents (or the both parents should be present at the registration desk on the registration date), copy of birth certificate (also required for residence permit application) are required for the registration.
